Help Cardiff 101 save the Cardiff-by-the-Sea sign

During the windstorm in January 2021 one of the iconic Cardiff-by-the-Sea signs was damaged. The large wooden sign on Birmingham and MacKinnon was already in need of repair, but it is now essential to repair and stabilize the sign. With community residents’ support, and through the city’s partnership with the Cardiff-based San Diego Visual Arts Network, Cardiff 101 would like to restore the sign and have it represent Cardiff-by-the-Sea for years to come. This sign is the first visual piece of art seen when entering into the community off of the Birmingham exit, heading into downtown Cardiff. It is the identity of Cardiff-by-the Sea and should be saved. Help support this community project by donating to the GoFundMe at bit.ly/2Oev4Pq
Cardiff 101 Main Street Association, which is a nonprofit organization that advocates for Cardiff residents and businesses, works towards preserving, improving and promoting the Cardiff-by-the-Sea community.
