Encinitas resident Leslie Mannes is serving on the executive committee for Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego’s 10th annual ROMP Gala on Oct. 12 from 5:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m..

San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House provides “a home away from home” to families who have a critically ill or injured child in a nearby local hospital and keeps them close to one another during a medical crisis.

Mannes’ commitment to the House doesn’t stop at being a ROMP gala executive committee member – she has also served as a Ronald McDonald House board of trustees member for four years. As a third-generation McDonald’s owner/operator with several San Diego County restaurants, she brings a wealth of business and management knowledge to the Ronald McDonald House. Through her role on the ROMP committee, Mannes is rallying support from her local McDonald’s partners and the community to further the positive impact for families at the House.

The ROMP Gala will bring together supporters and philanthropists for a fun-filled night that will foster the magic of togetherness and hope for families with critically ill or injured children. This year’s gala, named “ROMP Enchanted: The Magic of Hope,” will be held at The Fairmont Grand Del Mar and feature dining, dancing, and entertaining surprises.

Fairmont Grand Del Mar is located at 5300 Grand Del Mar Court in San Diego. For more information about the event, including tickets and sponsorship opportunities, visit rmhcsd.org.
