Free online business workshop to be held for Encinitas businesses
The rise of the COVID-19 pandemic has forced small business owners everywhere to re-evaluate their business models and pivot to selling online instead of in their brick-and-mortar shops. For people curious about setting up an online presence but have never tested those waters, the City of Encinitas is offering a free workshop Wednesday, April 22, for Encinitas businesses.
This 90-minute workshop is designed for the novice technologist, and will present six steps to success, including determining feasibility of selling online, building your online storefront, leveraging online marketplaces, developing social media marketing and more.
This free event is sponsored by the City of Encinitas, Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, Cardiff Main Street 101, Encinitas Main Street 101, and Leucadia Main Street 101.
This workshop, which will run from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m., will be held virtually via GoToMeetings. Meeting information will be emailed to participants after successfully enrolling in the workshop. Please download GoToMeetings in advance of the workshop. To register please follow this link: https://forms.gle/UKCoAJ3ietadpXYR6
