Walking tour of historic downtown Encinitas to be held Nov. 21
The Encinitas Historical Society will hold its next guided Walking Tour of historic downtown Encinitas Saturday, Nov. 21. This two-hour tour has been redesigned to include additional points of historic interest. Trained docents will walk with participants to such places as the iconic boathouses, Cottonwood Creek, relocated historic buildings, and much more as everyone winds their way through downtown Encinitas.
Please gather at the one room historic 1883 schoolhouse located at 390 West F Street by 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21. Masks and acceptable social distancing will be required. Bring your camera, walking shoes, and a desire to learn more about historic downtown Encinitas. Space is limited. Call Carolyn @ (760) 753-4834 to sign up. This tour is offered free, but donations are accepted for the all-volunteer organization.
