Community gathers for ‘Green Feast’

Chef, farmers and community members gathered June 8 at Encinitas’ Farm Lab for its first “Green Feast.” The event was a celebratory meal to raise funds for this unique agricultural laboratory that educates local kids in science centered around nutrition and the environment. The event also honored Tim Baird, superintendent of the Encinitas Union School District. For more information, visit theecologycenter.org.
