The Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association presented its 18th Annual Safe Trick-or-Treat event Oct. 31.

Event participants had the opportunity had the stroll up and down “Pumpkin Lane,” aka South Coast Hwy 101, from Encinitas Blvd to K Street. Carved pumpkins were on display at multiple viewing locations, and dozens of merchants offered goodies for children. Kids also enjoyed Halloween-themed activities and games in The Lumberyard Courtyard, plus dancing to the live music of Bucket Ruckus.
