The Encinitas Heritage Tree Lighting Ceremony took place Dec. 6 at the corner of 4th and C Streets at Moonlight Beach. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the event, the Encinitas Historical Society brought together local music groups to perform traditional holiday songs. Santa Claus also made a special appearance atop a hook-and-ladder fire truck provided by the Encinitas Fire Department. Visit encinitashistoricalsociety.org.
