Cyclovia Encinitas
Cyclovia Encinitas, which took place Jan. 12, offered people the opportunity to explore downtown Encinitas on South Coast Highway 101 via bike, on foot or other means of self-powered transportation, free of cars.
The event area was held from D Street to J Street for people to get out and enjoy the downtown with friends and neighbors. The event featured great shops to check out and a variety of activities, including a bicycle safety rodeo, bike skills course, bicycle decorating station, informational booths, music and more.
Cyclovia Encinitas was a partnership effort between the City’s Environmental Commission, Traffic and Public Safety Commission, San Diego Bicycle Coalition, Encinitas 101, sponsored by Coastal Sage Landscape Architecture, Seismic, Bike Walk Encinitas, AMR Ambulance, Electra Bicycles and KTUA.
