The Seacrest Foundation Women’s Auxiliary held the Ruby Jubilee Gala on July 8. The event also honored Pam Ferris, president and CEO of Seacrest Village, for her 35 years of leadership.

Co-chairs Robin and Leo Eisenberg, Merrill and Robert Haimsohn, and Erica and Steven Ratner were joined by 400 guests in The Gardens at Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Seacrest Village Retirement Communities.

The gala featured entertainment by Bonnie Foster Productions, champagne and cocktail reception, and hors d’oeuvres while overlooking the ocean. Rory Devine, former NBC7 reporter, emceed.

After a three-course gourmet dinner, guests took part in a live auction and the Fund-a-Need Program. Guests raised over $1 million.

Auction items included a ruby and diamond ring, donated by the Diamond Boutique; a New York Broadway getaway for four people; and a private, wine-paired dinner for 10 at the Pamplemousse Grille, hosted by master chef Jeffrey Strauss.

Funds raised will support Seacrest Village Retirement Communities’ Resident Assistance Fund, which provides charitable care for those in financial need.

Seacrest Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports Seacrest Village Retirement Communities and Seacrest at Home.
