Free conference offered for San Diego County caregiviers

For those providing care for a family member or friend, or those concerned for the well-being of a parent, a free conference for caregivers will be offered Friday, Jan. 13.

The conference includes lunch and will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the San Dieguito United Methodist Church, 170 Calle Magdalena in Encinitas.

Topics will include Taking Care of the Caregiver, Care Options, Difficult Conversations, All About Dementia and advice from a panel of caregivers, and a free caregiver resource fair and free respite care is available to those who need someone to look after their loved one during the conference.
