Dead person found inside home

A person was found dead May 22 amid apparent natural gas fumes in a home near Moonlight Beach, authorities reported.

The fatality in the 200 block of Florita Street in Encinitas was reported about 11 a.m., according to sheriff’s officials.

It was unclear if the death was accidental or possibly a suicide, Lt. Jim Bolwerk said.
