Sheriff: Visit website to claim stolen property
The North Coastal Sheriff’s Station is working to return surfboards, golf clubs and other items stolen from across San Diego County. To help these items find their way back to their owners, photos have been posted at www.sdsheriff.net/return. Owners who recognize their items should note the photo number and complete the contact form on the right side of the screen. A deputy will then reach out to them. To claim the item or items, bring a stolen property or theft report from any law enforcement agency. In the absence of a stolen property report, owners of property can show a photo, proof of insurance, receipt or information such as a serial number to prove the items belong to them.
The search for suspects is ongoing and anyone with information about stolen property is asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 888-580-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 will be given for information that leads to a felony arrest.
