Encinitas Youth Cross Country Invitational

The Encinitas Youth Cross Country Invitational invited kids ages 5-14 to participate in a day of races Aug. 30. The event offered an opportunity for an introduction to the sport of cross-country running.

The invitational was held on the grounds of the Old Meeting Hall on Rancho Santa Fe Road. As a special guest, The Flash led all of the 10 & Under races, and kids had the opportunity to have their pictures taken with him. For more information, visit www.runkids.org. Photos by McKenzie Images.
