EUSD third graders attend the Symphony

The San Diego Symphony recently received a generous grant to give students in the Encinitas Union School District complimentary tickets to its Young People’s Concerts in February.

The grant provided for 700 students to attend the Symphony, but in order to send all of the third graders and some other grade levels, the number reached over 1,200 students. To make up the difference, the Encinitas Education Foundation committed to fund the remainder. In addition, a transportation fund was established to help pay for transportation.
