Lux Art Institute Fall Fest

Lux Art Institute held its first Fall Fest Sept. 12.

Fall Fest combined the viewing of art with the creation of art. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about Lux’s art classes through hands-on workshops with visiting artists.

Included at Fall Fest was the opening of the Max Greis exhibition in the Artist Pavilion. While in residence at Lux, Greis will use footage he recorded on the train ride from New York to California to construct a detailed video landscape projected on top of hand-painted panels.

The event also featured art demonstrations, a local art market, live music and food trucks in the Education Pavilion. Visit www.luxartinstitute.org.
