Engage Encinitas Citizens Academy will hold a “Meet the Media” event June 9, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Encinitas Library Community Room.

Can community news media shape community dialogue? In this important election year, hear from a panel of local media representatives discuss what they consider their role is in the community and how the community can engage with the media. The panel will be moderated by Roman S. Koenig of the North Coast Current.
