SDA student big winner at scholarship event

The RB Chorale awarded a total of $10,000 on two recent nights to six promising musicians who will be attending college in the fall. Audiences at both performances were amazed at these talented teens.

The big winner of $2,500 on Saturday, June 11, was vocalist Rachel Dovsky, who graduated from San Dieguito Academy in Encinitas. The beautiful aria she sang touched the audience, and she has been invited to Italy to perform this summer before heading off to Chapman University in Orange, Calif., in the fall.
