Stabbing victim found lying on Encinitas sidwalk
San Diego Sheriff’s Deputies from the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a stabbing victim who was lying down at the corner of Encinitas Boulevard and Calle Magdalena, in the City of Encinitas.
Deputies arrived on scene Oct. 1 at 4:28 a.m. and contacted the victim, an adult male, who was conscious and still breathing. The victim sustained apparent stab or edged weapon wounds. Paramedics, who were already staged at the scene, transported victim to Sharp Memorial Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
The North Coastal Sheriff’s Station Investigative Unit is conducting the follow-up investigation in regards to this incident.
